Due to the amount of precipitation received in the area and forecasted weather, by ORDER of the Fire Chief, the City of Whitefish shall join Flathead County and other federal and state agencies lifting Stage I Fire Restrictions effective Saturday August 10, 2024, at 12:01 a.m.
This ORDER applies to properties within Whitefish City Limits. It is each individual’s responsibility to be aware of and follow any fire restrictions in place when recreating on county, state, federal or private timberlands.
