2022 Federal General Elections
The Federal General Election date is November 8, 2022. The Flathead County Election Department will mail absentee ballots to all registered absentee voters on October 14, 2022. If you are a registered absentee voter and have not received your ballot, you can track your ballot on My Voter Page.
There will not be a ballot box located at City Hall. A ballot box is only provided at City Hall during City Elections.
There are three (3) options to returning your ballot:
- Mail to the Flathead County Election Department in the return envelope that is provided with your ballot. It is important to follow the instructions that are included in the envelope.
- The Postal Service Recommends you mail your ballot at least one week before the Election Day. (Note: $0.60 postage is required)
- Drop off your ballot at the Flathead County Election Office (THEY HAVE MOVED)

Election Day/7:00AM-8:00PM - Day of Election, any of the Polling places (7:00AM-8:00PM). The Election Department usually includes a list of Polling places in the Daily Interlake in the Monday, November 7th edition and/or Tuesday, November 8th edition.
If you are not a registered absentee voter, and will not be in town on November 8, 2022, you can vote in-person at the Flathead County Election Department, at the address located above, during business hours.
