The Flathead County Election Department has posted the unofficial results for the 2023 Municipal Election. Mayor Muhlfeld and Honorable Judge Overland were unopposed and re-elected for a four-year term. Councilors Sweeney, Qunell, and Norton were re-elected for a four-year term. The Resort Tax initiative was approved to re-allocate the funds to include 10% of the 3% to be allocated to Community Housing initiatives including the development of deed restricted affordable housing units and community housing program. This allocation will go into affect February 1, 2025.
