All of our firefighters are cross-trained to provide emergency medical care. This combined response provides the additional personnel necessary to assist with a medical event.
In the case of a motor vehicle accident, the fire truck can help with scene lighting and diverting traffic. This response increases safety for the patient and our responders. The fire engine also carries diverse rescue equipment for extracting individuals from a vehicle.
